FSU Professor Denise Bookwalter will have an exhibition at Tallahassee Community College, from February 15 to March 22, 2018. Bookwalter works in a range of print media including traditional and digital processes, artists’ books, installations and dimensional prints. She utilizes old and new print technologies to create collaborative artists’ books. Her work has been exhibited and collected in a variety of venues across the country and abroad. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her M.F.A. from Indiana University in Printmaking. She is a Professor of Art at Florida State University, where she teaches printmaking and is Area Head of the Printmaking Department. She’s the director and founder of FSU’s artists’ book press, Small Craft Advisory Press. The opening reception is Thursday, February 15 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm.
