Bite From the Apple: FSU BFA students exhibit at Gadsden Arts Museum

“Bite From the Apple” Exhibition Showcases Emerging Talent at Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL
The vibrant creativity and transformative journey of emerging visual artists and designers from Florida State University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program take center stage at the “Bite From the Apple” exhibition. Presented in the Munroe Family Community Gallery from March 30 to June 15, 2024, this mixed media showcase celebrates the culmination of years of dedication, exploration, and artistic growth.
Organized by award-winning artist and professor, Carrie Ann Baade, alongside artist and BFA student, Nicolina Morra, “Bite From the Apple” features the current work of BFA students graduating in 2023 to 2025. The exhibition presents a diverse range of media, including painting and fiber, providing viewers with a glimpse into the innovative practices and creative endeavors of FSU’s emerging artists.
“At Florida State University, we are committed to fostering creativity and innovation in the arts, and the ‘Bite From the Apple’ exhibition exemplifies the remarkable talent and dedication of our BFA students,” said Professor Baade. “Under the guidance of our esteemed faculty mentors, these students have explored new horizons and pushed the boundaries of their artistic practice, resulting in a captivating showcase of their diverse talents.”

General Information:

The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum is located just 20 miles from Tallahassee. Visitor hours are Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10am – 5 pm. Exhibition admission is free for all museum members, children aged 17 and under, families visiting the ArtZone, and children’s groups, $3 for students and $5 for adult non-members.

Admission to the “Bite From the Apple” exhibition is as follows:
Students in the exhibit have free admission for themselves, their friends, and/or family accompanying them on the day of the opening Saturday April 6th from 2:30 to 4:30 pm
