Student Collaboration Opportunity with Miami Immersive Art Exhibition

Published November 1, 2023

Gain hands-on experience to work on a multimedia art exhibition called “The American Passport Experience” with a well-established artist at a renowned and recognized immersive art exhibition venue in Miami. Not only can this project help students earn credits towards the school’s program curriculum, but the students and the school’s program will be recognized and credited by The American Passport Experience (AP) project as well. The vision of AP is to include the people of the Miami community, so we reached out to your institution to give your students a lifetime opportunity and experience to become involved in this unique first-of-its-kind art exhibition.

Exhibition:

  • Where:  Superblue Miami – the largest immersive art exhibition located in Wynwood with roughly 400-1,200 daily attendees
  • When:  September 15-30, 2024, during Hispanic Heritage Month (as well as New York, tentatively scheduled in November 2024; and LA, dates to be determined)
  • Project Installation Duration: We anticipate the project’s production phase to start well in advance, possibly in January, to ensure everything is in place for a seamless and remarkable experience through the dates of the exhibition:  September 15-30, 2024

Objective:

The core objective of The American Passport Experience is not only to entertain but also to educate, grow awareness, understanding, and inspiration for the Latino’s role in American history. Latinos make up a vital part of the tapestry of the United States enriching this nation, so it is important to recognize and remember the Latino narrative while providing exhibition visitors with an unforgettable journey into the vibrant world of Latino culture through immersive art technology. Through the AP Citizen Program, 13% of AP’s proceeds will help Latino immigrants to obtain their American Citizenship.
