On September 14, retired FSU Art Professor Mary Stewart participated in a regional Foundations in Art: Theory and Education (FATE) conference at University of Central Florida and gave a concluding presentation titled “From STEM to STEAM: Harnessing the Connective Power of Creativity.”

From October 15 to November 14, retired Professor Mary Stewart will work on a new digital project at the Jentel Artist Residency Program in Wyoming. In a reference to the philosophy of Heraclitus, her project titled “The Same Stream Twice,” deals continual change. While there, she will give a presentation on her artwork and conduct a creativity workshop in Sheridan, Wyoming.
