Professor Garcia-Roig Exhibits Paintings in Two Prestigious Art Fairs

Published April 5, 2019

FSU Art Professor Lilian Garcia-Roig has works featured in two prestigious Art fairs in April. She’ll be at the Philadelphia Fine Art Fair, from April 4th-7th. Cernuda Arte presented some of her “Hecho en Cuba” & “Reconstructed Sights” painting series alongside works by Wilfredo Lam and other Cuban masters.

At the Dallas Art Fair, which runs from April 11th – 14th, she will be one of a small group of artists featured by Valley House Gallery. They will be showcasing some Garcia-Roig’s large, insight paintings in Booth A5. For its tenth anniversary, the Fair will see the addition of almost 30 new galleries, including James Cohan Gallery, Van Doren Waxter, Casey Kaplan, Paul Kasmin Gallery, Rachel Uffner Gallery, Green Art Gallery, The Hole, Luhring Augustine, and Praz-Delavallade among others. The galleries join nearly 100 participants from close to 30 different cities.

The Dallas Art Fair offers collectors, arts professionals, and the public the opportunity to engage with a rich selection of modern and contemporary artworks presented by leading national and international galleries. Thoughtfully curated exhibitions and innovative programming encourage lively conversations and close looking in a robust and rapidly growing arts community.
