Professor Garcia-Roig’s Work Featured in Latino Art Now Conference in Houston

Professor Lilian Garcia-Roig has some mono-prints featured in “Made in Texas,” an exhibition that is part of the “Latino Art Now” conference & events in Houston, TX. The show is at the Mashburn Gallery on the UH campus and runs from March 23 – April 14. It features women artists whose careers and production have been associated with Texas. All the works are drawn from the Gilberto & Dolores Cárdenas collection, from Austin. Artists included in the exhibition are Garcia-Roig, Connie Arismendi, Ana Fuentes, Santa Barraza, Claudia Elisa Zapata, Candace M. Briceño, Suzy Gonzålez, Melanie Cervantes, Paloma Mayorga, Margarita Cabrera, Irene Perez.
