Professor Garcia-Roig has Solo Show at Cernuda Arte in Miami

FSU Art Professor Lilian Garcia-Roig will be having a solo show featuring her “Hecho En Cuba” & “Reconstructed Sights” series that will open at Cernuda Arte in Coral Gables on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm. This exhibit will be the first to feature the on-site works she did during her first painting trip to Cuba in 2017, as well as her studio-based reinterpretations of those works on paper. The exhibition is accompanied by a 36 page full-color catalog, featuring an essay by Dr. Carol Damian, former Director and Chief Curator of the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum and Professor of Art History at Florida International University. On Saturday, Nov 3, there will be a lecture by Carol Damian, Ph.D., at 4pm, followed by an Artist Talk by Garcia-Roig, at 5pm.
