MANDEM Published in Journals and Anthologies

Published June 14, 2018

The Little Prince

MANDEM, fronted by FSU Art MFA ’15 Maize Arendsee, is published in the current issue of ‘Still Point Arts Quarterly’. Celebrating its 10th anniversary with issue 30, ‘Still Point Arts Quarterly’ is an engaging art and literary journal that publishes exclusive peer-reviewed creative works and the best-of-show selections from their affiliated art exhibitions. MANDEM’s mixed media painting “The Little Prince” was a juried selection for the Still Point X exhibition. The Summer 2018 issue of ‘Still Point Arts Quarterly’ can be found here.

MANDEM was also recently featured in ‘Timber’, a literary journal dedicated to the promotion of innovative literature and visual art from The University of Colorado Boulder. Selections from their mixed media artist book “GIFT: Exegesis” were published in issue 7.2 of Timber, which was focused on the theme “Ruination.” ‘Timber’ is available online here: https://bit.ly/2xy4lko.

Cthulhu Lies

MANDEM’s work can also be found in the recent literary anthology ‘Curious Specimens’ from Sundress Publications. The editors “sought poetry, prose, and hybrid text/ephemera that explored what it meant to be someone (or something) caught between worlds.” In addition to having documentation photos of their “Bottles” installation/sculpture project selected for inclusion in this anthology, MANDEM’s painting “Cthulhu Lies” is featured on the cover.
