Professor Garcia-Roig Featured in 2 Exhibitions

Carnuda Art will be featuring 6 works by FSU Professor Lilian Garcia-Roig at Art New York. This international fair opens May 3-6 and is at Pier 94. Some of the other artists featured in Booth ANY220 are Wifredo Lam, Roberto Fabelo, Manuel Mendive, Amelia Peláez, Agustín Cárdenas, Gina Pellón, Miguel Florido and Joel Besmar.

Professor Garci-Roig will also have 6 on-site Florida paintings from her Cumulative Nature series featured in “Enchanted Florida: Picturing Contemporary Landscape” at the Maitland Art Center Museum. This four-person exhibition was curated by Rangsook Yoon and will run from May 20 – August 26. Professor Garcia-Roig will be giving a gallery artists talk at 5pm, at the opening reception on May 2.
