FSU Student Serena Corson Interns with Filmmaker, Liz Canner

FSU BFA student Serena Corson has accepted an internship with filmmaker and media artist, Liz Canner after meeting her at a recent visit and lecture here at FSU. Corson approached Canner to tell her how much she admired her work and how Canner’s art mimics the same themes as hers. Canner is known for her documentary, Orgasm Inc. about the pharmaceutical industry taking advantage of women. She also does digital public art installations and new media projects on other human rights issues. Corson will be staying in an NYU dorm this summer, while commuting to help her in her artistic duties.
