Dawn McMillan co-Chaired the exhibition which coincided with the release of Arcadia Publishing Company’s “Images of America: Gadsden County” written by local authors David Gardner, Joe Munroe and Dawn McMillan. A Portrait of Historic Gadsden County is included in the Viva Florida 500 commemoration, the state of Florida’s initiative to promote 500 years of Florida history – its people, places and cultural achievement – on the 500th anniversary of Ponce de Leon’s arrival here.

Robin Rodgers showed the work pictured and others and many of his pottery finds from along the banks of the Apalachicola River.   Robin has been running his own studio, Rabbit Pond Studio, in Tallahassee since 1995.

His work can be seen on Facebook, Robin Rodgers Pottery.   You’ll also see him in a kilt as he is also part of the band, Scots on the Rock!
