FSU Art MFA ’02 Muffin Bernstein: Honey Tasting & Seed Bomb Distribution

Published May 22, 2016

Wednesday, May 25th, 6:30pm – 7:30 pm, Hubbell Library in Algiers Point, 725 Pelican Ave.

New Orleans artist Muffin Bernstein will discuss her art and the inspiration behind it: pollinators, and their importance to our lives. Enjoy a honey tasting and leave with a seed bomb to plant more wildflowers and promote bee and butterfly activity.

I hope that the beauty I have captured inspires others to hold nature in reverence. It is our responsibility to do whatever small thing we can to contribute to the health of our ecosystem locally.  Small things such as planting more milkweed for monarch butterflies and wildflowers for bees make a huge difference if done by many individuals.
