Important Dates and Times

PREPARING FOR REVIEW:

  • Tuesday Sept 24th: Information session @ from 6pm to 7pm in ATL (Art Teaching Lab)
  • Tuesday, Oct 1: Tour of BFA Studios and Informal Portfolio Review/Critique with BFA students @ Phyllis Straus Gallery in CAB, from 7pm to 9pm (or until done).

Completing the application: Ask Faculty to meet just before or just after their classes to share your portfolio and seek their support.

BFA Applications Due: Thursday October 10th, 4pm to Advising: June Dollar Room 223.

Eligibility

Application is open to all currently enrolled BA Studio Art students. Students must have a minimum overall 3.0 GPA and a minimum 3.2 GPA in studio art courses and must have all Foundations courses completed (or completed in the semester of applying), no exceptions. It is strongly advised that students apply prior to reaching 90 hours. Any students over 90 hours should be advised by the BFA advisor before applying. Students will need attend at least three semesters in the BFA program not including summer.
