Exhibit Fabrication Company Seeking Part-Time Fabricator

Exhibit fabrication company, Wilderness Graphics  is seeking part-time fabricator. From coast to coast and sea to shining sea, Wilderness Graphics has provided designs for signs, exhibits, dioramas, waysides, multimedia experiences, and interactive displays. Some were fabricated and installed, others were shipped at the customer’s request. You can see examples of their work from Alaska to Florida and the Caribbean or from Maine to Southern California.

In business since 1975, Wilderness Graphics is distinguished by their ability to produce diverse media based on natural and cultural history and environmental topics. They are now branching out to include a vast array of products, using their past to create something new.

A full-service firm with in-house resources, they take ideas to implementation. They provide planning and products that support outreach, education, interpretation, and heritage and eco-tourism. Services include concept plans and budgeting, immersive and interactive exhibits, habitat dioramas, multimedia and AV production, and more.

Description of Duties, Including but Not Limited To:
Fabrication, assembly, and installation of exhibits (metal and wood)
Light carpentry
Prepping and painting
Working from ladders
Loading and unloading of trucks
Cleaning, wrapping, protecting, and shipping of exhibit components
Other shop related duties as assigned

Requirements:
Be willing to work in a warehouse/wood shop environment
Employees will be working indoors as well as outdoors
Have basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdriver, tape measure, etc.) and a screw gun
Be able to read plans/blueprints
Lift 50lb loads or more as needed
Reliable transportation to the fabrication shop in Tallahassee, FL
Good communication skills
Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work with a team
Understands and practices safety in all work circumstances
Can work independently
Has a positive attitude
