The Internal Medicine Unit of TMH is working to incorporate the methods of a hospital in Israel called Music and Memory in care with Alzheimer’s patients. With this new project, Tallahassee Memorial Hospital hopes to provide arts supplies such as crayons, colored pencils and sketch pads as well as iPods with music from the 1940’s and 50’s to patients with Alzheimer’s as a way of minimizing falls and injury due to confusion.
