Art MFA Christina Szakonyi Exhibits Work with Oil Painters of America

FSU Art MFA ’22 Christina Szakonyi Exhibits work with Oil Painters of America’s 2019 eastern regional juried exhibition of traditional oils. Oil Painters of America (OPA) is a not-for-profit organization representing more than 4,000 artists throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Founded in 1991, OPA is dedicated to preserving and promoting excellence in representational art. Its primary focus is to draw attention to the lasting value of fine drawing, color, composition and the appreciation of light.
The organization holds annual national and regional competitions. The 2019 Eastern Regional Exhibition is being hosted by Beverly McNeil Gallery, located in Birmingham, Alabama, October 10 through November 11, 2019. The Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, October 10th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the awards presentation at 7:00 p.m. The Beverly McNeil Gallery is located at 605 28th Street South, Birmingham, Alabama 35233.
