Urielle Blanchard Accepted Into Disney College Program

FSU Art BFA ’20 Urielle Blanchard, from Davie, Florida is a senior BFA student with a focus on time-based media, design and interactive media. She is participating in the Disney College Program for Fall 2019 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. Urielle strives to work with Disney’s Animation Studios in California after graduation. She is taking this opportunity to do the DCP internship for experience with Disney, as well as build networks and relationships with people within the company.

The Disney College Program is a semester-long paid internship program working at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort. It is available to all majors. You gain on-the-job experience working in the parks and resorts. You have the opportunity to meet with people from all over the country and potentially the world. The program offers company-sponsored housing, or the option to live outside the dorms. This truly unique five- to the seven-month program allows participants to network with leaders, take part in personal and career development classes, and build transferable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, guest service and effective communication.
