Christopher Rivera Exhibits ‘Batteries Not Included’ at the Airport Gallery

Published August 27, 2019

FSU Art MFA ’21 Christopher Rivera exhibits ‘Batteries Not Included’ at the Airport Gallery in the Tallahassee International Airport. Looking back on his pre-digital childhood, Rivera finds more than just fond memories, he finds inspiration. This collection of works promotes open-ended reflection and a return to the days when children weren’t so quick to grow up.

This exhibition runs through Nov 4th and is one of many curated by the Council on Culture & Arts for the Art in Public Places program on behalf of the City of Tallahassee. For more information about this exhibition, upcoming exhibitions, or the Art in Public Places program, contact Amanda Karioth Thompson at COCA, (850) 224-2500 or amanda@tallahasseearts.org.

The Airport Gallery is open 8am – 11:30pm and is located at 3300 Capital Circle SW in Tallahassee, FL. This exhibit is free and open to the public. The first 30 minutes of parking is free.
