Two Professors showing in New Orleans

Professor and Chair Lilian Garcia-Roig and Professor Emeritus Mark Messersmith are in a group show titled “An Outside Chance” at IBIS Contemporary Art Gallery in New Orleans. “An Outside Chance” features works by artists Ann Marie Auricchio, Keith Crowley, Lilian Garcia-Roig, and Mark Messersmith. These four artists, currently working in the south, make work that responds to their environment. Curated around this theme, the exhibition highlights a variety of forms and interpretations related to landscape. The show opened January 3 and runs through February 25. The gallery is located in the heart of the New Orleans Arts District at 704 Camp St.
