Thomasville Center for the Arts Seeks Proposals for Solo and Group Exhibitions

Wall Space presented by Thomasville Center for the Arts in Thomasville, GA is currently seeking proposals for both solo and group exhibitions. Wall Space is an emerging artist gallery located downtown Thomasville, GA, approximately 45 minutes from FSU. The gallery is housed in a high traffic area, Grassroots Coffee, and is ideal for beginning exhibitions or more seasoned artists interested in showing and selling their works. All mediums welcome, however most accommodated work can be installed on walls.

TCA Exhibitions support emerging artists whose body of work includes critical thinking, independent curator projects that provide a conceptual or theory based framework, exhibits that encourage experimentation through creation, dynamic, interactive projects that challenge the standard exhibition format, and public art projects that invoke creative thinking.

Curators, artists, collectives, and thinkers of all kinds are invited to submit preliminary ideas for thought-provoking exhibitions to be exhibited in their multi-disciplinary art venue. Exhibitions may last from 3 to 4 months.

Letters of inquiry are due by March 31, 2022, and those of interest will be invited to submit a full proposal. Selected exhibitions will be scheduled between April 2022 – June 2023. Exhibition budgets include signage, labels, opening reception, and marketing. Artists will receive 60% for the sale of any artwork.
