Success Stories: Artist Talk by Alumni Robert Blake on April 23

The final Success Stories Alumni Talk of the semester is FSU Art BS ’18 Robert Blake, aka Peenpoon on April 23 at 3:00 pm. This is an important talk because Robert is solely supporting himself on his digital artwork through the creation and sales of NFT’s. We hope you will join us and meet one more alumni that is guaranteed to challenge your thoughts on the future of art.

Blake is a Tallahassee native who holds a BS in Art from Florida State University class of 2018. He’s a full-time maker of digital art who is thriving in the new art market for NFT’s. Guided by the personal mantra technology + expression = freedom, Blake seeks to express both deeply personal and existential human narratives through the use of Blender, a free, open-source 3d software.

By creating representations of goddesses in esoteric heaven and hell-like spaces, I can process different ideologies and philosophies that otherwise feel much bigger than me.
