Favorite Lake brings together artists, a writer, and a botanist to explore the biodiverse sandhill ecosystem located south of Tallahassee in the wilds of Florida. Full-size prints of plants paired with a poem describe the unique experience of being in the presence of century-old cypress trees and the beauty of discovering new plant growth. The group visited the site multiple times, walking around the lake in different seasons. The result is this multi-year project that became Favorite Lake.
