Professor Garcia-Roig Featured In Tallahassee Woman Magazine in their National Hispanic Heritage Month Section

The 2020 October/November Issue of Tallahassee Woman features an article on FSU Art Professor and Department Chair Lilian Garcia-Roig titled “Finding Belonging Through Art,” by Current FSU Art Major Briana Smith.

In the article, Ms. Smith asks Professor Garcia-Roig questions such as, “How do you describe your art?; How does your Latinx heritage flow through your work?; What challenges have you faced?; How do you find your “sense of place and belonging” within being a woman in art?; Who are inspirational women you value in your life?; What would you say to young women creatives today?; What do you hope to achieve in your new position as Chair of the FSU Art Department?”
