Sarah Black-Sadler (b. 1988, Adak, Alaska) is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Tallahassee, FL. Her artworks blend painting and fiber practices tethering posthuman kinship and New Materialism. She received her MFA from the Mount Royal School of Art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2021. She was an invited artist resident at Agricola Due Leoni in Rome, Italy, and is the recipient of several awards, including the Gold-Stern Emerging Artist Award, and the Johns Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute Artist Fellowship.
