On April 20, 2021 at 9 am, the Visual Arts Association invites both UK and international artists to join curator, artist, consultant, teacher, mentor, and co-author of What They Didn’t Teach You in Art School, Rosalind Davis, for a discussion about how to identify and strengthen your creative voice (incl. distinct artistic style, niche, voice, authenticity and story). Your creative voice allows people to connect and find value in your work to purchase it or to make more of it. The stronger your creative voice, the more likely you are to get opportunities, including sales, licensing agreements, exhibitions, shows and galleries representation. It is vitally important that artists communicate in a consistent manner across their business – from website, to statement, to social media to live events.
This session will include two parts:
– Artistic Voice
– Communications
This session will last for 1 hour 30 minutes and will include an opportunity for Rosalind to answer any questions that participants may have.
£15 entry fee or free to members (refund available to those who become a student member of the Visual Arts Association, £20/year)
