“Life Touching Life” Screenings and Exhibitions

Life Touching Life, a multispecies video series, is screening in several exhibitions this month. These exhibitions are listed below.

A section of Episode One which was made in collaboration with mantis breeder Erika Dane Kielsgard, is currently screening at Horse and Pony in Berlin, Germany. The exhibition is titled N O W H E R E and is curated by Carrick Bell

Vox Populi in Philadelphia, PA, is screening a section of Life Touching Life, and exhibiting the multimedia sculpture “If A Rose Could Reflect On The Human Gaze” for an exhibition titled Future Ecologies, curated by Danny Orendorff.

This Saturday, October 2nd, at 1pm EST, a new section of Life Touching Life will premiere online with the Society for Literature, Art, and Science Conference. This event is being hosted by Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan. Collaborator and scholar Phillip Thurtle will be present for the screening along with special guests. Afterwards this will be followed by a Q+A session. All are welcome to join virtually. Register for the event here (make sure to select “no charge”).
