from FSU Art BA ’20 Jenna Vigre:
When I started my position as a Graphic Designer for Student Publications, I had three goals. The first was to expand my experience with working with clients and to listen and understanding their requirements, creating a final product they desired. Second, I wanted to educate myself on the features and nuances of Adobe products. Third, I sought experience working in a professional business environment.
During my time working in Student Publications, I began to develop these skills by communicating directly with client about their product wants and expectations, using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create designs, and participating in a professional workplace environment. I highly value my experiences working in Student Publications and look forward to expanding my knowledge of the industry and honing my three goals further.
