FSU Art Alum Brad Blair’s Solo Exhibition “Divergent Entities” on Display Now!

Published February 15, 2023

“Divergent Entities,” a solo exhibition of artworks by Brad Blair (FSU Art MFA 2014), will be on display February 4-26 at the Delaplaine Arts Center, in Frederick, MD. This is Blair’s first solo exhibition since before the pandemic, and it will also be his largest exhibition to date. There will be 60 ceramic/mixed media works on display, with more than 25 that have never been shown before.Blair says, “Along with the continuation of creature forms, many of my new sculptures have references to the fungi kingdom, a source of inspiration that has exploded for me over the past few years. The diversity of their shapes and colors, paired with their elusiveness and mysteriousness, have inspired me to incorporate them into my artwork. Hundreds of hours have gone into the making of ‘Divergent Entities’ and I cannot wait to share it with the world!”Operating hours for the Delaplaine Arts Center are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge for admission.
