Introducing Laura Tanner Graham, one of five recipients of the Cultural Council’s Emerging Artist Prize! Based in Palm Beach County, Laura is an interdisciplinary artist working in drawing, print, and film. During her four-week residency at the Norton Museum of Art, she focused on developing her upcoming public art project for the City of Boca Raton’s centennial.

“I was so excited to be an awardee for the inaugural year. It’s been such an amazing opportunity to connect with other artists in the area. The award provides a mentor for each artist, which has been invaluable in informing my path forward as a young artist in South Florida. And then of course, we also get this amazing residency at the Norton Museum of Art. It’s given me the time and space to work on projects that I have been trying to wrap up for a while.” – Laura Tanner

Stay tuned to learn more about her incredible work!
