Florida Supportive Housing Coalition seeks to combine housing with services for people who face barriers to housing stability (mental illness, substance abuse, etc.). The Coalition will host a Policy Day on May 5, 2022 from 10am – 3pm. The event will be an opportunity for agencies (DCF, AHCA, etc.) to build relationships that will lead to an increase is funding for and construction of supportive housing.
The coalition seeks a student interested in volunteering their time and photography skills to take photographs to document the Policy Day.Interested students should contact Katherine Hanson (katherineh@disabilityrightsflorida.org), attorney at Disability Rights Florida and a Board member with the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition.
