Department of Art hosts inaugural Fall Kick Off event

The Department of Art hosted our inaugural Fall Kick Off event on October 25 in the atrium and courtyard of the Fine Arts Building and its’ Richard G. Fallon Theatre, Florida State University’s long-running & largest performing arts venue. The purpose of the event was to engender a greater sense of community among students, and to celebrate who we are and what we are doing. The evening included a presentation showcasing our exceptional faculty, staff, and resources, an impressive lineup of visiting artists, and numerous opportunities for students to engage with, as well as the unveiling of newly designed logos for all department galleries; an exhibition of works by new faculty members (Professors Jiha Moon, Katie Kehoe, and MJ Neuberger) in the FAB Gallery; and engaging activities and tables run by and highlighting student art organizations (Clay Club at FSU, FSU Art Society, Print Club FSU, The League of Graduate Artists, Art Students’ League of FSU, and Museum Society at FSU).
