Sculpture Lab
The sculpture facilities in Room 107 of the Fine Arts Building (FAB) consist of a woodshop, metal fabrication, plaster room, and an alternative media/installation room equipped with a video projector and a seamless backdrop. The woodshop is equipped with a SawStop table saw, compound miter saw, band saws, 12-inch jointer and planer combo, Powermatic drill press, belt sander, oscillating spindle sander, two-disc sanders, edge sander, power carving tools, router table, sandblaster, a panel saw and more. The metal fabrication area is equipped with 3 Mig welders, plasma cutter, chop saw, cold saw, metal grinders, Tig welder, and oxy-acetylene stations. Metal shaping equipment includes a 50-inch slip roll, tube bender, two brakes, and a foot shear. Please email Andrew Wilson at amw25j@fsu.edu to schedule lab use.
