The FSU Department of Art assists graduate students financially through a variety of teaching assistantships, graduate assistantships, and other types of support.
The FSU Department of Art is proud to offer all of our graduate Master of Fine Arts students either technical or teaching assistantships. 1st Year students receive a technical assistantship ; qualified students can switch to a teaching assistantship for their 2nd and 3rd years in the program, where they will gain knowledge in teaching foundation-level and some media courses. Students must maintain a high level of performance in the program to keep their assistantship status.
