The Department of Art offers a course of study leading to the Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree.
The strength of the graduate program lies in the excellence of its faculty members and graduate student body, who share a commitment to the personal and professional practice of art and related scholarly activity. These talented individuals share the belief in the importance of artistic endeavors within a global and social context and the concept of creative and scholarly research as a vital and enriching part of a Class I Research University.
