With Words (Project Volunteers)

Published January 9, 2013

With Words at The Florida State University is fast approaching and we are going to need YOUR help to ensure the success of this year’s exhibit!

Come out on Saturday, January 12th, and Sunday, January 13th, from 10am to 8pm, and help us bring our ideas from paper to life. We will be gluing, painting, drawing, sculpting, and moving pieces of the exhibit to The Center for Global and Multicultural Engagement (The Globe).
If you are interested in volunteering throughout the week of the exhibit, we will be having a volunteer orientation on Saturday, January 12th, at 6pm in room 2001/2002 of The Dunlap Student Success Center.
Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this life-changing event!
With Words is a museum-style exhibit through The Center for Leadership and Social Change that aims to educate members of The Florida State University and Tallahassee community while connecting them to resources that deal directly with domestic and global social justice issues. Using quality research and multisensory experiences, we seek to inspire compassion for these issues so participants can engage in meaningful conversations to create change.

This year’s event will take place from January 14th-18th, 2013 in Florida State’s Globe Auditorium. We invite you to explore the links above to find out more about attending this event, volunteering, and exploring social justice issues.
