About us: The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association is among the most influential trade associations in Florida. The association was established in 1946 to represent the restaurant industry. Since that time, the scope of FRLA’s representation has expanded to include the entire hospitality industry including lodging establishments, restaurants and thousands of suppliers to the industry. Internship Description: FRLA is looking for a graphic design/marketing intern for the fall 2011 semester. The intern will assist the Director of Marketing with marketing campaigns to members and non-members alike as well as any event marketing campaigns for fall 2011. Projects may include but are not limited to: a new member engagement campaign, an annual membership survey, Winter Board meeting marketing, new product launch, social media assistance, and more. Intern must be willing to assist on other membership tasks as well as needed.


Internship Start date: As soon as August 2011.


Requirements: Must submit portfolio/samples of work and resume by August 19, 2011. Must be able to use the Adobe and Microsoft Office Suites. Preferably all applicants must be able to work 15-20 hours per week. Schedule is very flexible to the needs of each intern.
FRLA looks for interns with a great attitude and willingness to jump in where needed. Several past interns have accepted positions with FRLA after they’ve completed their internship.
