Want to be part of a new publication? Burning Tree Magazine

Published February 18, 2016

A newly founded online publication, Burning Tree Magazine, specializes in good writing, thought-provoking reporting, and human interest stories, all through the lens of the college experience and without losing our sense of humor and inclusion. Burning Tree aims to have as many viewpoints from as many different groups as possible. The group is holding a meeting for anyone interested in contributing. Positions are available for writing and reporting, copy editing, photography, videography, web design, graphic design, media editing, and community outreach.

Burning Tree Magazine is trying to put together as diverse a range of students as possible in order to be better able to serve the mission behind the magazine, which is to create a publication which can be as free as possible of illegitimate bias with regard to political and socioeconomic issues.

The magazine aims to use insightful, well-written and fact based journalism to inspire valid discussion of serious issues, while maintaining an accessible human-interest angle, taking full advantage of any artistic endeavors we may be able to sponsor, all through the lens of the youth/college experience.
There are recurring meetings every Thursday at 8:15pm.
