VR Systems Calling for Poster Designs

VR Systems, Inc., a Tallahassee-Florida-based election technology company, seeks to commission an artist to design a series of posters. They are initially in need of seven unique designs with the possibility for the artist to create additional pieces in the same style (potentially two to three designs per year) upon mutual agreement. Each poster design must be representative of the specified state or city, and incorporate a representation of their company logo and the theme of democracy. The artwork is intended for use on items given to their team of employee-owners and customers (posters, postcards, magnets, and stickers), on their website, and occasionally shared on their social media accounts. Items that feature these designs will not be sold.

Artwork must be provided electronically. Digital files (vector file format preferred) must print cleanly up to 24” by 32” and exclusive rights of reproduction must be transferred to VR Systems upon completion of the commissioned design. Artists are requested to submit URLs for two examples of their digital art (can be low-res photos) along with proposed fees and timeline/revision schedule. Submissions must be entered online. The first review of submissions will begin in mid-October.
