TIM MYRICK: A Southern State of Mind
January 16 – March 28, 2015

Painter Tim Myrick captures unique people and places through a Southern perspective. Myrick’s individualist style was largely shaped during his youth, growing up in the South, and specifically, The Gadsden County community. His southern aesthetic captures a picturesque folk quality in various landscapes, objects, and local community members.


 

NORTH FLORIDA WOODTURNERS
January 16 – March 28, 2015
On display will be an exhibition of turned wood sculpture from members of the North Florida Woodturners Association, a woodturning club that promotes and encourages the art of woodturning. Artists included in the exhibition are Marty Bobeck, Hugh Coward, Eddie Earley, Joe Greiner, Tom Kenny, John Penrod, James Sampson, Jim Skipper, Glen Sponholtz, Walt Wager, and Bob Wilkinson


 

SHEILA ROBERTSON: Before All This
January 16 – March 28, 2015
Sheila Robertson’s watercolors encapsulate interconnected, intimate yet universal ideas about life through the exploration of her personal memories. The collection features abstract imagery that references various flora, and an emotion the artist associates with the plant. The lush pigment and expressive application of the medium represents Robertson’s trademark style while communicating universal concepts ad emtions. The artist mixes her own watercolors and uses a variety of materials in addition to pigments including coffee grounds, dirt, grasses and tea leaves.
