Mary Stewart, FSU Department of Art Professor Emerita, visited Tallahassee this month for a reception introducing her mural at the FSU College of Medicine. Located near the main atrium of the college, the 17’x3’ mural is installed in a curved entryway to the neuroscience faculty offices.
Stewart recently completed her Fulbright Scholar Flex Award. In her host country of Canada, she mentored students and taught a variety of workshops at the University of New Brunswick, collaborated with The Atlantic Centre for Creativity, and promoted applications of creativity among faculty members, administrators, and innovators in the Canadian province. During her most recent visit, Stewart presented in a Creative Thinking course at the University of Waterloo’s Department of Knowledge Integration and identified people for her upcoming “Creativity Across Canada” interviews.
