MANDEM’s Angst-ridden photographs explore the gap between the adult world and the children who inhabit it. through taken exclusively from the angle of a child’s gaze, their subject is more the anxieties of adulthood.
Two-year-old KITSUKO’s paintings embrace life with unmediated spontaneity. Though she prides herself on the very grown-up and serious act of using her mothers’ paints and brushes, the resulting images reveal a child’s sheer joy in texture and color.
