Thomasville Center for the Arts: Due South Makers Market

Published February 7, 2014

Thomasville Center for the Arts presents the “Due South Makers Market” on April 26, 2014. The market will hold a juried opportunity to display works and is open for applications!

From jellies and jams, to hand tooled leather, to metal work, the Due South Maker’s Market will be a true celebration of the Southern Makers movement. In it’s third year, Due South is pairing bountiful local foods chefs, makers and music. Due South is on Rose Show weekend this year – an event that stretches Thursday to Saturday and brings 30,000 people to downtown Thomasville.

The Makers Market is a one day outdoor market open Saturday, April 26, 2014 between 12 – 5pm in Thomasville, Georgia. We envision a market full of fresh, unique items of excellent craftsmanship produced by individual southern makers and small businesses. This is not a fine art market nor is it a traditional craft show.

This is a juried market with a limited number of slots. The application deadline is Monday, March 3, 2014.
