The Knott House Museum Presents: Animating the ‘toons!

The Knott House Museum is hosting a brief talk by an Art History PhD candidate, Mery-et Lescher,  on how animation changed during the 1930s on Saturday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Knott House Museum (301 East Park Avenue).

Florida State University’s Mery-et Lescher talks about how loveable childhood cartoons from the Golden Age of American Animation were produced. Popular characters like Mickey Mouse and Popeye the Sailor Man will be featured.

Participants animate their own characters by creating a flip-book. Admission if free. Light refreshments will be served.
