The Mercer University Art Department seeks submissions for an exhibition of temporary public art titled, Art in the Park: New Forms from the Southeast. The show will be on display for five months in the historic Tattnall Square Park, across the street from Mercer University’s campus in Macon, Georgia. Please see the details below:
ART IN THE PARK: NEW FORMS FROM THE SOUTHEAST
A temporary exhibition of Public Art that seeks to show artists who are working in the Southeast region of The United States. Sponsored by the Mercer University Art Department and the Knight Foundation
Dates of exhibition: March 20 – August14th, 2015
Opening reception March 20.
Location: Tattnall Square Park in Macon, Georgia.
$1000 stipend plus 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards!
Open to artists who reside in the Southeast United States.
Application deadline: 11 p.m., Sat., February 14, 2015.
