FSU Professor of Art and Guggenheim Fellow Lilian Garcia-Roig, is one of twenty female artists being featured in a new exhibition at Cernuda Arte in Coral Gables, Florida. The gallery located at 3155 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, is open for viewing Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and is closed on Sundays.
Professor Garcia-Roig currently has a solo exhibition titled, “Legacy of Place” at the Moss Art Center on the Virginia Tech Campus in Blacksburg, VA.
The show runs through September 2 and she will be having a public artist-curator conversation on Thursday, August, 25.

The piece that started this cycle of virality was Verrier’s painting of “Grilled Cheese,” posted on March 2. It had more than a half million likes and over 58,000 retweets as of last week.
