On October 24-26, 2012, a workshop was conducted at Florida State University by the Peace Paper Project for student veterans. The FSU Printmaking lab provided the space and facilities for the workshop and the printmaking faculty, staff and students provide assistance. The student veterans created paper using combat fatigues or other clothing of significance and created a piece of art, often using imagery from their military experience.
The Peace Paper Project was sponsored by the FSU Veterans Center, Department of Art, Department of Art Education, specifically the Art Therapy program, and the College Veteran Association. For more information about the Peace Paper Project and its process, please visit www.peacepaperproject.org.
