Spring 2024 Internship Opportunity at The Ringling
Now accepting applications from current undergraduate students for The Coville Undergraduate Curatorial Internship in Photography at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. The selected intern will work directly with The Ringling’s Stanton B. and Nancy W. Kaplan Curator of Photography and Media Arts. The intern will assist in researching objects in The Ringling’s photography collection and will:
* Develop art history research skills.
* Gain a better understanding of the history of photography.
* Understand best practices for safe handling, care, and storage of photographic objects.
* Develop skills in curatorship within a professional museum environment.
The internship begins in mid January 2024 and ends in May 2024 (maximum of 16 weeks). The expected schedule is 8-10 hours a week (flexible). College internship credit is possible with a salary of $15-per-hour.
