FAR welcomed several students from Lincoln High School last weekend to partake in a Rhino workshop instructed by Windham Graves and Noah Z Brock. This talented group of students, accompanied by teacher Marilyn Proctor, received an educational grant from Florida IT Career Alliance in order to enhance the current 3-D modeling curriculum and prepare students for disciplines such as digital fabrication. The students were eager to learn the computer-aided design (CAD) software and look forward to utilizing these new skills for use during their classes at Lincoln High. FAR is scheduled to hold another Rhino workshop during Spring ’15, exclusively for another group of students from Lincoln High held with the same grant funding.
