Lilian Garcia-Roig Exhibiting in Relational Undercurrents at Museum of Latin American Art

FSU Art Professor Lilian Garcia-Roig is exhibiting as part of a high-profile MOLAA exhibition this month.

Relational Undercurrents: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago, curated by Tatiana Flores, is a major survey of twenty-first century art of the Caribbean and challenges our understanding of the Caribbean as discontinuous, isolated, hermetic and beyond comprehension. The exhibition includes painting, installations, sculpture, photography, video and performance. Relational Undercurrents is part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, an initiative of the Getty.

Some of the other artists included are: Firelei Baez, Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, Tania Bruguera, Carlos Martiel, Janine Antoni, Manuel Pina, Allora & Calzadilla, Edouard Duval-Carrie, Nicole Awai, Ebony G. Patterson & Didier William.
