LeMoyne Exhibiting the Works of Artist donalee pond-Koenig

The LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts will be exhibiting the works of artist donalee pond-Koenig at LeMoyne starting Friday, February 1, 2013. The exhibit is titled: “A Solo Retrospective of donalee pond-Koenig” and is a journey through the artist’s life and experiences.

Describing her work as “abstract-realism”, she explains how although her art is abstract, it is also very detailed with realistic sections to the pieces. For example, with her figurative drawings she adds more interest bringing viewers into the art and making it interactive. The exhibit will be showcasing all of her bodies of work from throughout her life.
